Neptune Plumbing recently underwent a three-month-long, 4,000 sq.ft. expansion and renovation project to accommodate the continued growth of our service division, 1-800-PLUMBING. Utilizing an adjacent warehouse, the new 1-800-PLUMBING facility remains connected to our existing Neptune Plumbing location, but with an office and warehouse facility solely dedicated to service. While they are similar in some aspects, new construction plumbing and the service of previously-installed plumbing systems have more differences than they do similarities. This separate space will provide for a more efficient operation on both sides of our company.
In addition to expanding our facilities, we’ve also upgraded our technology. Two newly-installed flat screen monitors now provide us with live job status and geographical van positioning for each of our plumbing technicians. Service Supervisors then utilize this data to coordinate with client needs and dispatch technicians accordingly.
This real-time technology joins a larger line of tools we’ve recently implemented to enhance our services, like the ability to upload videos taken with our sewer cameras to a secure online portal for customer review. Customers can then use these images to understand their unique set of issues and make informed decisions. Yet another technology that is quickly gaining popularity in the industry and with our clients.
